first discovered in 2007 in a remote satellite station in
the Philippines, YARDFLEX served as catalyst and point
of departure for the new YARD series of works

its soundform was so distinct and unique, yet it
allowed enough space and mystery to permeate,
inviting the sincere listener to dive deep

initially released on 45 as SKRS001 in 2008, it has
since then been put on hold for further germination,
silently awaiting a more proper time to emerge

we present it here in digital form, remastered from
salvaged recordings, pleasantly in awe of its inherent
design to transcend styles and times
